Mine was one of the first to get it. But it was 2 months ago when I got mine. 3 months ago I got it fixed for this issue. A month later it went back again for the problem. The new piece came in broken. Got another new piece and finally got it fixed. One of the times it happened I was crossing a major intersection and it stalled out and died half way thru the lane with cars coming at me. Made me **** my pants a little. It hasn't happened again since then except when the bike is really low on fuel. Maybe at a half gallon left in the tank but I have to be getting on it.

It's a nice bike to ride. I didn't like it at first. Break in period is always boring. But after I broke it in, got the fueling issue fixed, and gutted the exhaust, Ive been happy with it. I ride it like a dragster. Handles good. It's light. Plus a 2 year warranty is nice to have. Although I never keep a bike more then a year. I need to get better at that. I went by Harley today. They said they still have to do the recall even tho it has new parts on it. But no parts until September.

should be selling as cheap as buell blasts on craigslist in a year or so....... Not trying to make fun of ur bike arikam, but this is one model that really doesnt need any extra bad publicity, probably a hard sell to the harley market anyway. I really figured the "streets" would be as reliable as V-Rods(which seem to be bullet proof for the most part).

How did you figure the Streets would be as reliable as the V-Rod? Did Porsche and Buell develop the Street motorcycles too? I. Don't. Think. So.

I'm sure I'll lose money on it when I sell it but I always do. The Buell is one of the few bikes I almost broke even on but that's because I bought it at the lowest amount possible and got the most out of it in a trade.

Think they would have got all the bugs out before selling to the public

you'd be surprised as to how much product is delivered with defects that the parent company knows about. it's about getting the product out there to meet a deadline and making the $$$$. fixes come afterwards, yet they sometime take a hit where it hurts, but in the end they are still laughing all the way to the bank and then some.

fuel pump "issues" have seemed to plague the motorcycle industry dating back to the mid 80's and the appearance of the first "pump-in-tank" models...many of which weren't even sporting EFI. trust me...it is not just an H-D issue.fuel pump related recalls i give you from memory:
