Head Polish

So Im going to polish up my blue heads, anyone have any advice? or recommendations for polish? Never done this before, but seems pretty straight forward. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, should I remove them to polish or just get in there with a toothbrush/sandpaper/rag?

I was actually about to post that...Header, not head, right?

Because I know if you grab your motor for a Port&Polish it does add HP, just not a whole lot usually...

Exactly, why would your heads be blue also?

Thaloc You could use blue-job (thought it was a joke), blue buster, or blue-away. i think you could find them at certain auto-parts stores.

06xb9r Lean causes heat which makes the pipes blue.

Almost every motorcycle will have this blue for a few inches, if it's severe this is an indication of an out of tune engine. Maybe running the wrong type of oil, or etc.

which ever you prefer...

you'll see that this stuff is crazy...the shine will keep on getting better even if it's already like a mirror!
