header pipes??

hi i been looking on ebay for header pipes for my 00" buell x1 lightning. i found na decent set for $150 but im unsure if they will fit my bike. the guys says there from a 03" xb9s anyone know if they will fit?

You need '99 through '02.
XB pipes will not fit

I don't think the M2 pipe will have the bung for the O2 sensor, but here is a guy on ebay who has a couple of headers that should work.

yeah i know iv been planing on getting pipes with no o2 censor. just drip a hole tap it im good.

I wouldnt buy anything from him.. he parts out perfectly good buells and asks some crazy prices for things.

An M2 header will fit, BUT you would need to install a 02 bung.

Thanks for the heads-up, I did not know he was taking apart good bikes. That really is a shame.
