headlight option?

ok, this is not about the dual headlight mod...it does not work on my '03!

since I ride with the high beam on all the time, what are my options for going with a single headlight? and I do not want the LSL or the 7" round set up...something different. suggestions please...

Check out the links we have been posting. Stay away from the cheap E-bay ones, unless it has an H4 bulb. They have poor light output.

yeap, thanks...been through that thread.

so, decided on doing the CR headlight conversion instead, but going to have to figure out why the dual mod doesn't work on my bike.

I would love to turn mine back to a CR. The parts just aren't out there. Unless you want to sell a kid and purchase them new. I put a Firebolt fairing on mine and modified the projectors to accept H4 led lights so both go on with high and low.

just completed pricing the assembly out...headlight, flyscreen, harness, and dash cover...$289 + all the hardware needed (screws, washers, grommets) add $80 more. probably source the hardware from Ace or home depot and save the 80 bucks.

the bulbs, rubber boots and ignition are the same part numbers as the 9S.

That's not bad at all! Plus the CR assembly looks great on the Lightnings! Probably better light output than other aftermarket options as well.
