Hedders

I was just wondering if anybody knows what stays on a hedder pipe. I had my dirt bike header powder coated with hight heat flat black, It didn't last very long. I want to do the pipes on my bike Black ( when I get it) and wondering what the best way is, that will stay more than a month.
