Heel guards -- aluminum?

Just got my home anodizing station going and before throwing my heel guards into lye and sulfuric acid baths I just wanted to make sure they are aluminum.... they are right?...

If they are stock, then, yes they are. Have fun with that.

Will post pics if i can ever get these heel guards off.... did they freaking weld these on or something?! Any advice on getting these bolts out? Already stripped one ><

Good set of allen sockets...and a 3/8" drive with extention. This will give you the torque to get them off in one crank instead of stripping them...
