The fit, finish, and overall feel are great, but the airflow was a definite disappointment IMO.

It's based on my experience only, I've only owned 3 helmets, Icon, HJC, and KBC and the Icon beat them all hands down in air flow and keeping the head cool - I ride the heat advisory days w/100% humidity and it seemed a big improvement to me.

I'll have to look into the icon, the shoe is a bit over priced for me.

What suck most is, you can't take a helmet for test ride.

I'm due for a helmet and was just thinking about that the other day. Dealerships need a little wind room with an 80mph fan so you can try it out, like when you go to Dick's and they have that miniature driving range in the back room so you can try out the drivers.

I've never had many problems with venting, although even my $500 arai needs the visor cracked open when you're moving slow or it's real hot. Even worse is the noise when you get much over 60mph for long periods of time. I'm hesitant to buy a cheap helmet if this one is this warm/loud, but at the same time, how much worse can it get??
