Looking into changing my plastics, have had the same black ones for a few years. I like the look of the translucent ash or maybe the orange, heck red looks great too.

Have been looking through members pics which takes for every and was hoping to get some people to post their bikes with clear plastics for references.

And maybe suggestions of what people think would look best with my color combination.
Thanks for checking in!

i had translucent amber on my lightning. the missus has the hero blue. and i have a set of red. my personal pick though was the amber!

i think with your silver wheels and frame you could go anything.., but hte ash might look a little dull compared to the colours.

The red are ok, but the only translucent color I really like is the blue. Otherwise I usually think they look better with a solid red, blue, or black paint job, assuming they don't have the gold wheels.

Man.. this shouldnt be this tough of a decision!
I agree about the ash not being that much of a change from the black, but I would still like to see some pictures of it.

That orange is looking pretty tuff though!![cool]

Ive got an 03 with after market exhaust and a K&N filter does anyone know if i would need to make any changes to the ECU or TPS after an air box delete?

I wasn't thinking of selling the blacks, just looks to good with them on.

Wanted a separate set to change it up every once and awhile.

If I change my mind ill let you know.

best pic I have of the kick ash plastics. doesnt quite pop as much as the others, but still OK i suppose.

I just had a spare set painted so I could swap out my hero blue plastics. The translucents show every scratch and it drives me crazy despite how cool they are.

I wish they made translucent plastics for every part of the bike (fairing, tail, etc) I think it would look cool to be able to see some of the internal workings of the bike, kinda like the clear computer boxes, or the window in the back of certain watches to show the movements...
