Help! I need a Race ECM for an '06 XB 12Ss

I can't find one anywhere. Is there something other than the Race ECM that will work?

I have a KN Air filter and a Jardine pipe.

Any Ideas????/

Isnt it possible to turn a stock ECM into a race with EMCspy or am I WAY off?

From what I read here on the forums I can, problem is I don't own a computer. I do all my computer stuff at work.

Anyone have a set up in Norcal I can use?

The ECMspy can do it and more. Have you tried American Sport Bike.com it shows they have them?

If you have a PDA, you can buy a PDA adapter cable and run ECMspy on the PDA. You can also send your ECM to ASB, tell them your mods and they will map it better than a race ECM. $100 for unlocking the ECM, $125 for the map. If you don't have a computer, I think thats the way to go.

I've been in contact with ASB and they are going to do it for 220$.

Plus they provided me with tons of additional information. A+ company!

We have been using ECM Spy the past 3 moths with absolute excellent performance figures, just get the right person to do the programming then all should be ok, we pay approx 60$ for tuning including having all the data stored on a ‘memory stick’ 220$ is a bit high??
