Hey guys,

I have a XB9 Lightning and the vibration makes my hands numb on a 20 min+ ride. I do have bar ends but they do not seem to work.

Any ideas on how to fix this. I have seen ISO grips for cruisers but not for sport bikes. Please help.

Do you were gloves when you ride? Would be another that could help if they have good padding.

Ha, the stranger. I do were gloves, not padded though. It was really windy so I was tucked over a bit.

I have tried lots over the years, first time ever to have heated grips.
I keep the heat on low (xb12xt)
My hands have not fallen asleep since I got this bike, if it was not stock I would have never found out.
I'm a very hot guy so adding heat to me at all is unheard of.
GL all.

I have stock grips. Will gel grips help?
Sure do, I went from stock to the Buell Comfort grips and it made a difference. Get padded grips, oh and since no one has asked, how long have you been riding and or riding this bike?

Get some Excercise so as to increase the blood flow of your upper bodys arms and shoulders.I guess softer grips might help. Never had that problem as of yet. Good Luck.*Jimi

ryan: all good suggestions and to add to what strawberrys said above, i've installed a set of these on both my ulysses and lightning cityX. you have to add a small amount of plastic epoxy between the right gri and stock buell throttle sleeve but very easy to wire, good quality, work well....heated grips are just great to have and the grip portion is thick and beefy, might help your hand situation.

I have rizoma grips and bar end covers (not weights) and I can ride mine for hrs without any problems. I would check 1st the stearing/head bearings or rebalance your tires/rims. Vibrations on the handle bars are normal on a V2 but that much???? Last but not least: ask your doctor for advice:)
