also checkout some of the videos on riding positions on from keith code's twist of the wrist DVD & books and some others too.

how are you positioning yourself on the bike ??? are you gripping to tight to hang on or leaning on the bars and/or using your arms to hold your body up?? checkout some better body postions to help, watch some videos on body postions.. there lots of threads here on body postions and some with great links and videos..

pay close attentiont to everthing after 7:21 and especially listen what he says at 7:44 for your problem of hand numbness & sore hands & arms..

if your are gripping the handlebars tight loosen up somewhat and gett good gloves with better pads in the areas of the palm you needs to help some.

. now if you have carpultunnel of any amount you might want search more on other ways to help fight it or help lesson vibrations

My problem with wrist pain is because I need higher bars on my xb9r,anyone ever tried rox risers or will they not work on firebolt upper triple trees, other option is ASB 1125 bars, just not sure I want to spend 225.00 dollars for them.

Use your core, and thighs holding the frame/tank to hold you up not your wrists.

One factor that has made a big difference in my wrist pain has been making sure the controls are adjusted to a position that makes it easy to keep my wrist in line with my forearm, thus keeping my carpel tunnel areas unstressed. use your legs and core to grip the bike and your arms loose.A death grip on the bars is a no-no too.

I think you guys nailed what my problem was. It was crazy windy and I was tucked over trying to get some relief.

Now it is good to hear that gel grips may help w/ the vibration.

^^ Wider bars may have been better quality aftermarket bars that serve to dampen the vibrations. My Renthal Fatbars feel better than my stock bars did.
