Guys I'm a little confused as to what I need to do. Bike is an 09 1125CR with 6k problem free miles, aside from a relay change about 1500 miles ago. Other than that I've had zero issues out of the bike. As of yesterday, while riding the gauge cluster would go blank and just read "system voltage" No rpm readout etc. if I let the bike return to idle, the dash would function properly and everything work. But as soon as I would rev the bike it would say system voltage again?? I tested the battery with the bike not running and it showed 12.0 volts. I checked the relay that I initially replaced to begin with and it is also fine. My bike also has the charging system "fix" harness as well. I'm just a little confused as to what direction I need to go?? I've been told my regulator may be shot?? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The known problem with the 09 1125'a it's the Stator. So my first guess would be that. Get a multimeter and service manual and you'll be able to test everything and trouble shoot the problem.

Update. So far everything is back to normal??? It's charging at 13.8+ when riding. Anybody else have this issue? And if it was the stator, wouldn't it have hard starts and run poorly over time?

Swat Officer/ Welcome to the Forum. Recheck the Possible the Wiring that was fixed OR another Electrical area or Harness plug needs to be checked. The Stators on the Larger or many of the Buells do go out around the Mileage you have. Ricks Motorsports can do a Rewind for you when you have to Replace it. The Stealership,[ I Mean DealerShip] if yours is Friendly Towards the Buellers the part can be bought there also.
A Manual is really needed for owning Any Bike that we as Motorcyclists like to fix for our Saving money and the Actual I can do it myself with a little Help FROM the Buellers Forum ! I know the Manuals are Expensive but a Necessary Item.
If possible, Get with a Manual and a Multi Meter and Check the Stator. while Idling. Then plug in the Regulator and retest,.[ Sears] and Harbor Freight will have the necessary Tools. post up if needed for extra help. *Jimi

It's your voltage regulator. I bet you blew out your headlights too. I have the same problem but so pissed cause of the stator issue I had before now that I have just been riding it during the day since I have no headlight. The regulators are back ordered at the dealer. It is not your stator cause you would not have that much voltage on battery if the stator was blown. You will keep having the issue until you get a new regulator. These issues are really pissing me off about even buying my CR. I should of just got something else since I still have my XB for my Buell fix but dang do I love the bike just hate these stupid issues.

Guys I appreciate the help. I've called two dealerships that both told me to bring the bike in and pay a fee to look at the bike. I love the bike and believe once the charging issue is rectified, it'll be problem free. But so far I think it may be a regulator issue. Again, wouldn't it not charge if it was a stator problem? Also, I think I still have the factory battery on the bike from 2009. What kind of numbers should the battery show on a volt/ multi meter when the bike isn't running vs running? This one shows exactly 12.0 volts not running and about 13.5+ once it's ran a few mins.

That's plenty. My cr when idling is at 13 to 13.9. When riding sometimes I see it as low as 12.8 to as high as 15.1. Should be ok there

Did your headlights blow? It is your regulator it will come back. I have the same exact problem right now.

No sir the headlights are fine right now. I hope it's just the regulator. I bought this bike with about 2k miles on it and was told the "recall" had been done on it already. I had no idea a bike of this quality would have such a mass problem. But I can never really say I've had a trouble free bike in my lifetime and if this the only issue I ever encounter with this bike that's pretty damn good in my opinion.
