Vibrating like hell? running on one cylinder?

Just curious, why did you do a TPS reset anyways?

LeFox, yes the battery was connected the whole time. Stupid I know.[confused]

Davexb12r, a tps reset was recommended by other members as well as a few other things and nothing seemed to work so I figured I would give that a try.

I have had the bike run one one cylinder before and this is a different feeling. [confused][confused]

Ok... what about smoke. Lot's of smoke, no smoke? Running rough could mean it's too rich. Check for lots of smoke when it runs rough.

It s not to rich, if anything the bike would run lean because I run my voodoo exhaust and did not retune to compensate.
Its at the dealers now and out of my hands, but thanks for you thoughts on the matter.

Are you guys ready to fined out what was causing all the excess vibration?

It was my Steering stabilizer mount [confused][confused][confused]

Because of the way I mounted the stabilizer to the front isolator bolt I inadvertently turned my rubber mounted motor into a metal mounted motor. I guess 2000-2600 rpms creates the proper resonance frequency and that is why my bike was vibrating so violently at that rpm range.

Bet you didn't see that coming.

Well the bike runs great now, and I would like to give a BIG thanks to all of you that helped figure this thing out.[up][up][up]

You guys rock :D[up]

Now if you will excuse my I have some riding to make up for.:D:D

Glad to hear Nitto. So I take it that mod carries some consequences then. Did you mount yours differently than he described in his thread?

the only real difference is that I bolted my mount to the isolator bolt to prevent it from rotating.
