Help with throttle housing

i bought my bike used from a real jackass. guy cut the nipple off the housing because he culdnt line the nipple with the hole on the bars lol. so i ordered new bars. and looking to see what housing wuld fit my 04 xb12s. any help wuld be nice and thank in advance.

I guess u have the problem that the housing is twisting when u turn the handgrip, correct? As some aftermarket handle bars do not have a holes for the position nop (nipple) I cut mine off as well. Considering myselfe to be a smart jackass I use then double tape to keep the housing in place, work fine to me.

yea I also did that to mine, I melted it down. But when I tightened the housing all the way it is solid, never moved on me once.

Just wrap the bar a few times with electrical tape, and tighten the housing over it.

what jackal said. you are looking for something to take up a bit of airgap between the bars and housing. tape works great.[up]

So what switch housings cross over to the lightning?
Blast, firebolt, Uly?

yes i looking to see if any other models will cross over. reason i want to replace is, im having throttle sticking problem . i ordered new bars,throttle cables,and looking to replace throttle housing.

throttel sticking problems... u mean when u release the handgrip it does not return to idle, right? I have the same issue since the beginning... it worse to spend so much money just get use to it
