I just ordered the swingarm bearings at the begining of the week...so I guess it was fate:(. On the bright side I only have to rip it apart once[up]

So I got smart and checked for codes..had a 15 air temp sensor, 16 battery voltage(knew that one..my battery sucks), 33 fuel pump. My question is...I forgot to plug the air temp sensor back in before I turned my key on and tried to start it. Will that make it throw the code 15?

Yes it will throw a code (trouble code 15, "intake air temp sensor shorted to supply voltage or open") and the engine light will show up on the dash when you are riding.

I tore my air box apart the other day and slapped it back on in a hurry, jumped on the bike and rode the .5mi to work and seen the light, got home that evening and check the codes, bamm it was the IAT sensor, took off the air box, seen it unplugged, plugged it in, all well.

another member found that this is the same pump buell uses'
fuel pump for a 03 musntang V6, part number E2366 at autozone XB fuel pumps are made by Walbro and are model #521

Thanks anrkizm...the reason I ask is I bought one from buellster parts for $125.00, in the hopes it would be the same. It was the only one they had so I did'nt want to let it go. When it comes in I'll have everything to fix my bike:D I cant wait.

My bike runs!!! I got the new used pump and slapped it in. When I inspected my old pump I found a wire disconnected on the pump itself, so it works too. I guess it does'nt hurt to have a spare ;). I feel like a tard for not tearing it apart weeks ago while waiting for the other pump to show up:(. I took it for a ride today and my check engine light flashed again and got a code 23 (front injector). The light came on and back off a couple times...it runs just fine, has anyone else fixed a code 23?
