Ok, oil seeps from my primary chain adjuster, i posted once before and was told that there is a seal inside the primary. When I was at the HD shop the parts guy couldnt find a seal listed for it. He went back and got a mechanic and the mechanic said to put a nylon washer on it that how the harleys are. When I got home I found it already has one. What do I do?

Take it out and use some thread sealent and with the nylon washer you should be good. If not the threads must be damaged

Thanks, I'll give that a try. To be clear though, I should remove the nut and washer, back off the tensioner and put the thread sealent on so that it gets in the threads going into the botom of the primary?

This isn't related to your issue, but your kickstand is different than mine, is yours how it comes factory? Mine doesn't have that large rubber bumper thing...

Ok, I finally got all my stuff in for my mantenence but can anybody tell me what type of thread sealant to use and where to find it?

I would just use a small amount of Blue RTV, back the adjuster out about a 1/2 inch, put a couple of dabs on the threads and then adjust normally, but remember you will have to do it every time you adjust the primary tension, Loc-tite also makes a good thread sealant
