Sure gonna miss buellforums.com. We built the Blast section into the best part of that site.

Anyone save a copy of my "How to Roll Your Own Blast Rearsets" post? I've still got the pics, I could try to recreate it here. I had to consult it myself 2 weeks ago. Long story short, but I put the stock arms on for my wife, she hated the bike, so I put the rearsets back on. That's why you haven't heard much out of me, I hadn't rode my Blast in almost 2 years. Just got her running again, including putting in the CV Performance emulsion tube and the V-ductor.

We'll at least EZ is active here too, most of the Blast knowledge on the planet is in his head.

can you use some discretion in the recreation of the stickies here? IMO, there were too many at the old site... some duplicated etc. We should try to keep them more relevant here where possible.

This sites features have been working fine for us ! Sorry it does'nt meet your Blast and your high standards. Just accept it for what it is and be appreciative that BuellXB even had an interest in taking your old site over.

Jetlee, It'll all work itself out in the end. [up] There's never 100% compliance in any takeover, buyout, acquisition, etc. We'll gain some and lose some, just part of it.

I'm guessing if roles were reversed and we all(buellxb members) woke up to a feature rich site that looked completely different and interface was different, you'd lose some of us as well!

1. Go to Google.com
2. Type in "BuellForums" and hit Enter
3. You should be able to view a cached version of the page.
4. Right click a link, copy link address.
5. Go back to Google.com
6. Paste the copied address and hit Enter
7. Go to step #3
8. Repeat to go as deep as you can into the forums, then highlight, Ctrl+C, then Ctrl+V it here.

I know that, but I'd like to lose as few people as possible. We were a kinda tight knit group that bounced a lot of outrageous ideas off one another. Lose one piece of the machine and it never really works right again.

Quite frankly, I'm not sure why any of the BXB members are being dickbags about the transfer process. You guys have every right to be disgruntled about how it was handled, and the relative unfamiliarity of the new site. Additionally, the native BXB users only have information and expertise to gain from the change. Anyway, I hope the transition moves smoothly for you. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Really, really appreciate you guys actually trying to keep the Blast group together through this trying migration. I would have punched a few holes in the wall by now if I were you guys.

We're working hard to take care of a few key issues.

1. jetlee WILL be set to a mod of the entire Blast section ASAP

2. Added the Blast forum topics that jetlee asked for

3. Working on a redesigned banner now to a) communicate better about the merger and b) show that we cover ALL Buell models and not just XB bikes

4. Still in communication with the former owner of BF.com to attempt at temporarily or better yet permanently save the archive. Not that easy, but I have my fingers crossed.

5. I'll work on a chat feature of some sort and try to resolve the re: re: re: re: issue on the PM. (This last one may take weeks as I am not myself a developer and am at the mercy of the guy I pay to do the work)

6. More to come with your help and continued patience

Also, take a look at the videos we produce with Dave. If you guys prioritize some great Blast ideas for how-to videos I'll talk to Dave about creating some of them this summer.
