Hey is That a Ducati?

So, I'm out for a ride on my black/amber '06 12R. Out of the corner of my eye, I keep noticing a guy in a van staring at me while riding in heavy traffic.

After a few stoplights, he says, "hey is that a Ducati?"

I pretended not to hear him.

I get that stuff all the time. Now I just make up names like "No its not a Ducati its a Walonorma, V-3 its made in Peru." then drive off with my feet dragging the ground.

Give Eslick some more time in the AMA and we won't be having so many threads like this......kinda bitter/sweet when you think about it. Like posts in this thread ( "What is it?" & "Who makes it?" & "I've never seen one." ) are why I bought mine in the 1st place. [smirk]

I was leaving a conference in NJ for work with 3 of my buddies on HDs. This guy comes up to me after I start up my bike and goes "Hey! Is that one of those Benelli crotch crickets?" I just revved my xb12r up a little bit and took off. haha. Didn't Benelli stop making bikes like 1000 years ago? (I could be wrong) Now that we're back in PA, my bike is forever a "Benelli Crotch Cricket". Good Times.
