HID Ballast Mounting Locations

For any of you that have installed HID kits on your 1125R where have you chosen to mount the ballasts? Can you provide photos? I've heard some mention under the fairing stay, but I'm not clear exactly what they mean. I'd like to mount them out of view and putting them under the stay seems like they would be in plane sight?

I was considering putting them under the passenger seat, and ordering the long cord version from The Retrofit Source. However that compartment is already somewhat occupied with wiring for the battery charger receptacle.

I have the same tail on my Lighting to firebolt tail conversion, and what I did was to order the extension wire and put them on top of my battery under the rider's seat. I don't have much wire left over either. just my .02$ worth.

Oh, and I made sure to get the slim AC ballasts too, they helped a LOT
