Hey guys, I have a 35w set of bulbs from ddm tuning, I have installed the bulbs but I am absolutely lost on the wiring aspect, I can't find a diy guide for the firebolt, if anyone knows of a diagram please give me a good source or advice, I have one red and black wire coming from the hid bulbs yet I only have one white wire (high beam I'm assuming) and one yellow wire (low beam I'm assuming) coming from the bike along with a black wire for each side. Is it a necessity to get a relay? if not then WHY DO I HAVE AN EXTRA BLACK WIRE COMING OFF OF EACH HID BULB? am I supposed to combine the black from the hid bulb and the black that is attached to the bike?

I am just so lost right now and in need of serious help

Going off of memory and just memory both builds go to the same ground (the black wire) and the reds go to the individual power source for the high beam and low beam. Not around my bike to look at it so yeah. Sorry I can't give you a 100% right answer.

Hit the search function at the top of the page. There's been plenty of write ups regarding HID installs. Id tell you how to do it but I feel like being an ass

I actually was trying to use the search function but every time I typed in HID install or DIY HID ect..... it always came back saying nothing found.
i am having much in the same problem
I have done an install before and so as soon as I bought my relays everything made perfect sense, go out and buy a pair of relays from a stereo shop, not radioshack or some cheap-o place. I recommend getting some thicker ground and hot wires. Takes a set of ground and hots from the battery up to the front of the bike, connect each to the relay and then connect your old headlight wire to the one side of the relay while connecting to new hid headlight to the switch wire on your relay. If you need help Shields I can try to help you out but it is kind of hard to explain.

google.com > in the search box type buellxb.com and what you are looking for. Results will magically appear and questions will be answered.

yes oh9bolt is right screw the search function, just google "buellxb.com and whatever your searching"

crazy texan, you need to get an adapter for the wire and then crimp it on, and thanks iman501&oh9bolt, I will use the google search
