HID's

Anybody got HID's on their XB or planning to? Where did you get them and how hard was it to install? I have them on my Trailblazer SS and really want them for my Firebolt as the stock headlights just don't cut it at night

I did the mod that uses both lights on at the same time on my firebolt. Works great! Only prob I have is my high beam light is always on and I confuse it with my netral light. I might put a sticker over the high beam light. Anyone else dealing wiht this?

I have the low beam only on my XB. Bought the kit from DDM tuning. $65 plus a lifetime warranty is hard to beat IMO. Also comes with a slim ballast.

Also have a hid on my low beam only from ddm. Prices have dropped though, you can get a kit of a pair of hid's for $40 plus shipping. I was running with the high/low on at same time mod, but the single 55w low beam is brighter, and now the high beam only makes the light yellower, not really any brighter...

I have 2 HIDs from DDM with a timer delay on the low bean to prevent the lights from coming on until 25 seconds after I turn the key. I love them!

Brightbuell, why would you do that? Your high beam switch makes them both be on. lol

I put a HID low beam in my Firebolt in October. Best mod I've ever done. Really lights up the night. Pretty simple install. I got mine from a member on BadWeb.
