I picked up where the PO left off at 7,760 miles after taking ownership in mid March.

Hoping for many thousands more!

PO only put around 7000 on my 12Ss, I'm now a little over 24,000.

Ride, ride, and then ride some more.:D

I'm sure there's someone out there with more ...although I may be the only still running the original belt!

2005 xb12scg 37,000 miles

clutch cable and headlight element the only failures so far.

Captain Chaos, I'd like to do better than that. 2,240 is not too bad considering the limited opportunities I have to get out. I'll see what I can do about that though!

Thats impressive mileage Phxbuller if you've not had any mechanical problems. You only posted a pic of the speedo with no details.:D

Yeah I got the bike with 60xxx miles last December. The guy I got it from was from Georgia. He told me the motor had been rebuilt at 50xxx. So that's word on the street anyways. All I know is that it still runs like a champ.

well nonetheless that is impressive. I appreciate you relpying back to me. Safe journeys always [up]

27K since summer of '09 on my 2008 1125R. I havent really ridden except to and from work a couple times a week this summer though due to a lack of time. Planning on doing a 500 mile day trip next weekend to stretch her legs a bit.

So far I've only had the notorious "1125 clutch wheep" issue, and the stock rear turn signals were defective. Still on original belt and running strong!

I had catch my jaw before it hit the floor.

Is it made of titanium webbing? Forged in the fires of Mordor?

I noticed mine starting to wear out at around 11k. Granted, it has lived near the ocean it's entire life.
