Just installed my new hmf exhaust on my 09 1125r what a pain in the ass! But it's on. Still have my old ebr ECM, wasn't sure what is tuned for since I'm been running the stock pipe for 2 years and when I bought the bike it already had the ebr ECM. Is this ok for my bike? Can I ride it untill I have the time to send mine Into ebr for a proper tune?

The bracket that is bolted on the y-pipe needed to be bent in order to fit properly, the pipes fit tight (expected) and the headers had to be loosened (again expected) I just wonder if my bracket was a defect? I mean I know its tight, ive done them before but this one wasn't even close. I had to actually grab it with a crescent wrech and bend it quite a bit out to line up with that oil cooler bracket. the y-pipe itself had a funny looking dent in it too towards the can itself like something may have dented it in a fall or something? but its on and looks great and sounds good too.

I had the same problem with my hmf exhaust..I decided to sell it and went with the barkers and never looked back!
