So I ride my bike a lot. My 07 just turned over 21k. I have been popping the clutch in 2nd gear and riding the wheelie out since just after purchase. It makes me grin.:p

The other morning leaving work, not wearing my gloves[down] , i clutched her up but in doing so ripped the left bar out of my own hand. luckily she went up like normal and i grabbed back on. changed my drawers and been wearing my gloves more. sweaty hands and all that torque just dont match. wondering if anyone else has almost let their baby go?? i get a bad feeling in my stomach just recalling it..lol

i did the same thing except in to busy intersection. luck for me i had my love on the back..(she looking at me funny buellwife) any way if she wasnt there i would have lost it.

I ride with a buddy of mine who never wears gloves...for one, how can the be comfortable?? and two, umm not very safe...

how can it be comfortable?

i live in texas. its already in the 90's.

i normally wear mine, but not wearing them isnt uncomfortable??

I have gotten so use to wearing my gloves that it is uncomfortable to not wear them. I feel like I have no grip without them.

So I can see what he means but if you dont wear them all the time you may be use to it, not making it uncomfortable as stated.

My other passion is motocross so when it gets really hot here (Alabama) and riding the streetbike I'll throw on the mx gloves. They are textile not leather but have leather palms and let a lot more air in than my leather gloves. I'm sure they dont provide as much protection as full leather gloves on the street but some is better than none!

If you ever take a big ass bug across the knuckles at 80mph or get caught in a heavy down pour gloves are second only to the helmet.
