Got sick of the old cover and im not dishing out atleast 100.00 for an aftermarket one. so i drew up the design with marker on the cover, then cut it out with a dremel. The pulley was pretty rusted, did the best i could with some emory cloth. will finish it up later when i get some sandpaper.

That looks very clean!! One of the best DIY covers I've seen so far...(including aftermarket!)
 
thanks, there is a couple of spots where the dremel got away from me. but ill clean it up one of these days.
 
If you wouldn't have told me you did that yourself I'd wonder where you bought it from. Great job!!!
 
resize the pics before uploading to your "My Pics", happens to me when I take pics with the digital camera, but not with my cell phone

the cover is really nice in keeping with using the stock piece, here were my attempts...

alright, thanks for that pic advise helped. your design with all the holes is what i was going to originally do.
