how can i lower the front end?

hello guys,im trying to get info on lowering a front end on a 2004 xb12 firbolt,i know that buelll has those showa forks with that indentation on them so that you cant just loosen up the top triple clamp and lower clamp and lower the front end.i went to buell and seen that the 08 has 43 mm. forks i would be willing to guess that maybe the 04 is the same but could be wrong, good possibility.would the best bet be to try and find some forks that dont have that indentation that are the same size as the stock buell showa's and then lower them in the clamps or raise them higher in the clamps actually.not sure just curouis,thanks for the time.

I would just go get XB12Scg forks

your forks are 41mm on the 04

The most you would have to change is the lower triple tree and the forks

the upper needs chnged too

not on any of the bikes I have done. The upper portion of the forks is the same diameter.
