how can i tell if this is the upgrade?

1125r I noticed i seem to have some play in the kickstand. How can I tell if it has the fix?

I don't think the 1125's had the kickstand issue, might be wrong, but I haven't heard of any one having trouble

I've never heard of an 1125 kickstand issue but the XB's have one. I had an 06 and had my stand go flying across a parking lot when my pin had fallen out. I would think with that issue they would of made sure the 1125 didn't have that issue, but then again who knows.

1125s dont have an issue with the kickstands. The little bit of play should be from the spring

Ok I thought I read about a recall on 1125s. The play that worries me is if i have the stand down and am holding the bike up and set it down on the kick stand I see play in the joint like up and down movement

My XB has plenty of play in it and I have the upgrade. Mine is an 09. As long as the clip that holds your pin in place is nice and secure you are good.

They had a problem with the spring coming off while riding. I had it happen to me. Their was a TSB that repaired those sidestands with a kit. Their are plenty of Badweb and Buellxb threads on the issue.

I had an issue similar to your. My problem was the bolt holding the kickstand on, was loose. Kick stand bolt coming loose and kickstand spring breaking is the only issues I've heard. Having zip ties with you, will be a must have if your spring breaks while out and about!
