Hey guys, here is a pic of my bike, i am trying to clean up the back end and was thinking about removing the passenger foot pegs and then relocating the license and integrating the turn signals into the tail light?? When googling about the question the same site always comes up.

Is this guy just selling the tail light? Is there anywhere that i can buy the whole kit to take that back fender thing off?? Sorry about sounding nieve, its because i am. Just trying to make my bike look "cool" and clean. thanks

search "cheesegrater mod" to shave down light holder.

xblights is awesome. i have their integrated taillight, worth every penny

remove rear pegs

remove belt guards

there are a multitude of ways of reloating the plate, i bought a lighted plate holder and mounted it to plastic tray beneath the taillight.

the search function of this forum is a great tool for finding options and waht the options look like. also check the users bikes topic.

i would also suggest some bar end mirrors so you can lose the dumbo ears (which vibrate way too much anyway). and nice exhaust, im guessing it came with the bike, its good an not cheap.

Dont chop the tail, trade it with someone who has a chopped one.
We need to keep some of them un chopped.

XB-Lights will soon be carrying Diesel Moto tail
Sections, so you can get the complete package from one place.

All the positive feedback is greatly appreciated!!

Do it yourself. Chop off all the excess metal, grind it down to the shape you want, drill a hole on each side to relocate the light (or buy an intergrated tailight), and then repaint.

I bought the kit that comes with the tag bracket. I flipped the tag bracket and bent it up under the tail a bit. Then added a small LED as a tag light.

What do you guys use to chop the metal with? To grind it down? A fellow Seattleite Bueller I met in the U District had a cool chop that I hope to emulate--didn't have a chance to ask him how he did it.

mine took me forever to cut because i used a dremel the whole time haha, but you can take a saw zaw and cut it close to what you want and then grind/file it down to the shape you actually want.

A Makita-type grinder?

Dremel tools are not the cutters they're made out to be--it took me forever to cut down my Renthals with a Dremel, and finally resorted to a small hacksaw...

A grinder with a large cutoff wheel sounds good to go!

This x10000. it took me like 3 hours with a dremel to cut mine down too. and it ate up all my cutting wheels. but its well worth the effort!
