How does this thing attach to my seat?

Anyone have one of these? How does it attach to the bike so it doesnt go flying off?

Have you tried it yet? My understanding is that you just take the seat off slide the cowl on then put the seat back on. I don't have one but that's what I've read anyway. Good luck with it. I jealous 'cause I want one sooooo bad.

yea, just slide it over.

mine is also attached with bolts and i had to remove the strap on the seat.

so could be that you do have to remove the trap.

I haven't received it yet. I had the people I'm buying it from send me pics so I could see how it attaches. I wasn’t sure if just sliding on would be sufficient. Can you drill easily through carbon fiber? Any special bit I should use? I was going to try and bolt it to the seat if possible. Not sure I trust something that just slides on.

it should keep it's grip, you'll feel is when you try to fit it.

drilling in cf is no biggy, but where are you gonna bolt in on too?

wait till you get it and fit it without drilling, then see if it tight enough

I was going to drill into the underside of the seat somewhere. But I'll check the fit before I do any of that. Thanks for your input as always
