This may sound dumb, but as a noob in the world of Buell I have to ask it. I was out riding today when my engine started spitting and stalled out on me, I switched it over to reserve and it fired right back up. However, this was after only about 130 miles (and 3 gallons). I thought this was a 5 gallon tank and was consistently seeing reviews from others about going 200-230 miles on a single tank, not complaining about the gas mileage by any means, but is it possible to really have a 2 gallon reserve or did I find false specs? The bike in question is a '99 Buell Cyclone M2. Any help is appreciated everyone.

Same issue here - not sure if my S1 lightning 1997 has the same tank size or not, but sounds like you're getting further than me on a tank of city driving!

Oh - and for my 1997 S1 - I get 150 Km consistently of city driving before switching to reserve, and never run the reserve dry but have to believe it's a big one!
