How long will a bolt last. Who's got milage.

Just curious as to how long I can expect my bike to run. Its got 6 on it now. Maybe comuting 30 miles to work next year in it. Is there any internal work expected in the near future? Valves ect?

Mine had 21000 miles and ran like a champ, no trouble with the engine at all.

I've got just under 22K on my 05 XB12r. I bought it with 19,000. Someone was pushing the hell out of it but it still work and runs great had to get the stater replaced and a baterry. I'm getting my first oil change at the end of the season.

saw 1 on ebay that looked nice with 30k i got my 03xb9s for 3.6k this auguest with 5k miles and in a few months put on anouther 500 but iam sure im done till winter pass' gunna do some DIY mods and parts this winter

No clue, destroyed 2nd gear and the left overs messed up the rest of the parts inside.

Warranty but it was at least $2000.

i have almost 20000 miles on my 04 lightning

Bought mine with 1,100 miles on it and in a year n half have 17,000. Have done all kinds of mods...reg oil changes with lucas synthetic and still running strong. During summer I commute about 80 miles back and forth to work. Plus all the other joy riding. Only issue I've had is replacing the voltage regulator...other than that, purs like a tiger.

Miss Buell, Do you still have the original motor and tranny. What issues have you had. Thats amazing that you racked up that many miles.[up]

Mne has 20k ish on it change the oil and don't be cheap.
I use mobile one v twin and a mobile one filter every 3k change the trans every 6k.
Buell chick's has 70k on it as far as i know it is all orignal
