How many of you were at the Dragon this weekend? I saw more Buells than ever!

not this wk. end...a couple of years ago Memorial wk. end and the next wk. end.......bought one of the pictures on line.

Just about to pull into the driveway after 11 hours towing a trailer! Good times! [cool]

raz counted 30 buells on saturday. thats not including the friends and buellers that brought other bikes. and i believe when he counted there may have been some at fontana or other camp sites. i would say 40-50 buellers.

Although this gathering a great event that I would support and plan on attending when feasible, weather-wise it can tend to be a tad early in the season, IMHO. Early May would be more ideal - although I've still seen it freeze there then, spring would be a little more "sprung" by then. My dad, retired, resides just 30 minutes west of the west end of The Dragon. BTW, I have rode The Dragon - have a pretty T-shirt from there. Also years ago had a co-worker killed riding The Dragon - young kid, riding too fast on his Yamaha, taking too many chances, going too fast, ran off the road and hit a tree.

Just got home as well. Curtis said he counted over 30 just at the picture and lost count, that doesn't include the people staying elsewhere.
