Thanks For all the replys! i honestly didn't think i would get this many... what is a 9S compared to a 9R? is the 9s a older bike or something?

The 9s is a Lightning and has a more up right riding position. The 9r is a Firebolt and looks more like a sportbike than the 9r. AFAIK, the power output and tech data is exactly the same.

cool i like the upward position anyways for long distance.... so that will work out well.. now i need to find one for under 4k my budget was 3k but i don't think i will find one plus i need gear ....so with gear and bike 5k is the max for me.. anyone know of any buells for sale around Boise, Idaho or on the way to Avondale, Arizona? if your close i also have a 63 c10 chevy with a built to the hill 350 that i might trade.. it just needs cosmetic work now.. but im undecided on getting rid of the 63 its one of those things that its near and dear one day and the next you think you might sell it.. intell you look at it again lol then you want it forever..

Progressive, Untouchable on Motorcycle rates. ( From what i've experienced)

Depends on the bike cause they raped me with no lube when I added my 1125. Only got a quote from Geico with the same coverages and it was 220 a month cheaper to go with Geico so I switched right away. From what I have been hearing from a few guys I know locally with 1125's Nationwide may be my next call when my renewal is up cause they got it cheaper then Geico.

Don't forget insurance on a motorcycle varies alot by state too. If you live it a state with a longer riding "season" they will have rates accordingly. I'm in NC with a longer riding season even though I ride all year they will be a little higher then say Michigan where you may only be able to ride 4-6 months. This was a huge factor when I had a boat, insurance was dirt cheap when I lived in Michigan cause they assume you only use your boat in the 3 months of summer we would have.

Here you go for difference. Engines are the same it's mainly seating position and front fairing and bars.

I pay Progressive $39 monthly but have full coverage and $200000 liability/under insured part of coverage. I like my Ulysses XT (lower to the ground) for my commuting. It is a little tall but it has the hard bags and trunk. I took the side bags off but I love the trunk. Damn thing corners its ass off too, very fun ride for commuting!! Hard to find one though.

I can tell you with frame pucks installed correctly these bikes can take a hell of a beating. My latest crash really only had damage to the shifter and a little grinding on the bars.

If you're in a state they support, check out www.rider.com I pay 412/year for full coverage on my Husqvarna SM610 and XB12R with 200 deductible.

Allstate.....$65 mo FULL coverage. 04 XB12R. I have been know to cover 600 miles + on a good day.......Normally its around 150 though when I do ride.

Who'd you have to have sex with to get that rate!?
Honestly i dont even know. My sv650s was $19 a month, and i bought it as a brand new left over 06 in 2007. I have always had good luck with state farm.
