How to remove undertail?

Does anyone know how remove the undertail on a XB12R? I removed the screws and the passenger peg mounts, but it wouldn't come off. What am I missing? Thanks!!

did you take the tail fairing off too, cus that plays a role in keeping the undertail on. take the driver and passenger seat off there are 3 screws holding the tail section on, and 2 screws near the rear sets on the undertail. Them u simply pull the tail section off and disconect the key lock cable. then remove the battery , the licence plate bracket,turn signals, passenger peg mounts and the 2 torq screws in the center of the undertail, and it should come off.
