hello, the clutch wire broke this weekend, do you have tips to avoid it in the futur or is it un-avoidable ? And by the way, my clutch-handle is pretty hard to pull (very tight), is there a way to loosen it so it could be easier to pull and shift ?
Thank you guys

By the way, when changin the clutch wire in the engine, there is a screw called "Adjusting Crew", is anyone know if I gotta tight it or let it loose ? When I opened the case first it was loose (about one turn away to be tighted)

I would highly suggest buying a cable luber and cable lubricant. lube it when you change your oil or every other oil change and that cable will last for years...

i bought a 'clutchlite' for less that 50 shipped.
went with the XX soft. it makes the fricton zone larger while still keeping plenty of 'feel'. and it is a USA product too!

depending if it's the adjusting screw on the clutch cable or the one on the clutch basket. if it is the one on the cable; it's used for adjusting clutch wire play. if it is the one on the clutch basket, loosen the jam-nut and unscrew the adjustment screw, then screw back in until you feel it contact ***then turn 1/4 turn out***

and get some dry slide
which is odd that your clutch cable is dry because primary fluid leaks into the clutch cable
