I love working on my Buell and I do nearly every weekend. I'm a graduate of MMI from the Harley/Buell program although I don't know all I still feel I a lot of knowledge I'd like to share. I attempted today to do a how to video but unfortunately the crappy digital camera I have wouldn't capture a good enough picture. Anyone have a recommendation of a decently priced video camera that would get the job done? Also anyone have a how to video they would like done? Please let me know. I love helping and teaching others and I know several have asked about how to videos, so let me know.

I think dave_xb12r, has beat you to the idea ;) But yes add as many as you can. Maybe changing brake pads or something thats pretty general.

Dave did the transmission/primary change and changing spark plug "how-to's" already.

Nooooo!!! You should definitely do the videos with the Basic Stuff for us the noobs![smirk]

I have a whole list of basic things and DIY mod videos that I'm planning. But if you could do some more advanced things, that would help me out for sure. Like header removal or fork oil change. Things that a person like me would take my bike to a person like you for. [up]

any chance of some ecmspy hook ups and running through some of those things...i'm sure i'm not the only one with a cable and........????then what[confused]sorry guys more of a visual or pictures person than reading and trying to imagine what's going on...probably is basic to the guys who've been around these bikes for a few years but to someone still dragging their knuckles like me...sorry bout the rant

cheers gasm

YES! I am about to do the ECMSPY hookup for the first time, and before I pop that cherry it would definately help me out! I am also a bit leary of wheel removal after reading the service manual. Anything helps us noobs, I assure you. The more vids the more help!

For the record, I for one appreciate you guys with the experience helping us noobs. I am not wealthy by any means and would hate to have a static display Buell for lack of ability to repair or maintain it!
