Just introducing myself! I bought a 2009 1125CR back in February '09 in Orwigsburg, PA.

I absolutely LOVE this motorcycle!

It is my second bike. First was a Kawasaki Ninja EX500.

I put about 8,000 miles on the Ninja, then stopped riding for about a year. Got my taste back on a rental '09 1125R, which I tried to buy. It got sold from under me to a dude in PA, who is treating her right, it seems.

So, I got this one for a song.

About 2200 miles so far. Nothing to really complain about other than I have a second battery in it, and maybe a third soon, since it is not holding a charge.

Lots of fun riding, though!

Ready for the Zombie Apocalypse!!

:D

That's an 1125R I rented in PA, and me in the Florida Everglades on my 1125CR.

I also included a pic of my bike with my friend's HD.

I love the look and feel of the 1125CR, it is very comfortable for me to ride long distances ( three hour trips are pretty regular).

It is also MF'ing FAST!!!

Just a little bump... and a broken collar bone.\

Ouch!

From my EX500 days...

:(

All better now, though!

:D

It's still all factory.

(I am not much on mufflers, etc.)

I would like some sliders, and a set of saddlebags.

I have only had two issues, both resolved under warranty.

I -hope- they did the stator when I took it in one time. There was a relay or sensor missing from factory, so when I would ride it and downshift, it would stall and not start again for several minutes.

Had that fixed.

It got rear-ended while parked in a parking lot (in 2010), so I took it in for repairs and they brought everything back like new.

Mostly cosmetic damage on tailcone, scoop and oil cover (?).

They checked it out thoroughly, and it has been great ever since.

Ridden in cold weather, rain, hot Florida sun, mountains, and all over the place.

It's a lot of fun, what more can I say?

:D

They didn't do the stator. HD won't fix something that "might go wrong". On top of that they would have had the bike in the shop for an extra month.

You are most likely correct. However, the bike was in storage from Sept thru April, (cold weather and waiting on parts...maybe I got lucky.) It was all warranty work, so they might have. I will let you know outcome...
