It cool, but doesnt the clutch ramp press against that? Its been awhile since I've done an XB, but I'm pretty sure that inspection cover is also used to hold the assembly together. Correct me if I'm wrong on this...

Its a small spring that holds adjuster locking nut in place, very little force.

I believe you are correct 34nineteen, that is on the inside of that area, they also have a fix it kit if it breaks.
