No harm done, gentleman! I appreciate the humor. I'm originally from upstate NY but I didn't just fall of the turnip truck! Well, maybe once when I was a kid :p

@twoguns - I wasn't sure if the rear suspension can be adjusted and unless you guys know otherwise, the front doesn't seem adjustable. The firmness of the ride seems on par with my Ninja - which is set in the middle. Some of the roads around here are bumpy and anything firmer would be too much, so I think they're both about right. I am curious how the bike would feel without the dampener. Maybe I'll check it out in the near future. It's a very different ride than the Ninja and I want to log a few more miles on it first.

@kb - yeah, that would be cool. I haven't done any trips longer than the Yucaipa - Cathedral City trip home. I mostly ride back and forth to work or the gym, but one of these days I'll get out of the valley and do some fun riding.

mate... your bike is full adjustable. has preload front and rear. take the seat off and you will see. has compression adjustable front and rear. standing ont eh left side of your bike lift he back corner of the seat closest to you. and rebound... now knell down and look at the bottom of your rear shock from same side, and bottom of front forks.

go for it. the bike is an awesome piece of kit expecially when it is set right.

Awsome... After I get to know the bike a little more I will probably play around with the settings and take off the dampener just to see how I like it. Thanks [up]
