I just bought this Buell 2 weeks ago and wanted to get it painted. I didn't like the factory yellow color. So I contacted a company called Grace-FX and had the bike hydro-dipped. I had the air box cover, front screen, and fender done in a carbon fiber and black and silver marble pattern over a dark cherry. Then I had the air intake tube, oil cooler cover, and the belt cover done. I still have more to do but I need to get the parts off and take them in.

It all has 4 coats of hi solids automotive clear on it , so it should hold up just like any other bike or car paint.

Great look ! I just sold my set of plastics that were hydrodipped 7yrs. ago and still looked good. What was the cost of yours.

There was a guy here in omaha that had a ton of stuff on his bike done.
He even made videos

the other videos are either on the related links or the same author
