So my bike was parked at work today, and a a guy ran it over! Luckily he was a stand up guy and came and found me.

Obvious damage:
Front wheel
left handle bar
5-0's sliders
5-0's pully cover
right rear set THAT I JUST PUT ON!!!!
possibly the swing arm
the tensioner
belt
I am thinking the lower tripple tree because the wheel lock doesn't seem to be doing her job any more

I am bummed, this is beautiful riding time. Guess it is beautiful waiting time...

At least I wasn't on it!

Wolfo68 2 swing arms?! are you hording buell parts?! haha I appreciate it man we may be in touch soon

Damn. You have had a bad luck streak going. Is he gonna pay you or is he claiming on his insurance?

I know right! Thanks for the pictures by the way!

He is going to pay me. A lot of guys I work with know him, they all speak highly of him and he came to find me so I am going to not be a dick and settle it off insurance. Off to the dealer tomorrow, let them go over it with a fine tooth comb.
THEY WILL NOT BE DOING THE WORK THO!!!!!!!!!
No one loves or takes pride in my bike like I do.

Yeah I agree this wont be cheap! I honestly don't care what he does or where the money comes from but my baby will be fixed!!!

Ok here's the idea, Harley is going to quote you what it would take to replace with all new Buell parts. My advice to you is take the money buy used and have powder coated or buy aftermarket. This is a chance to have some extra money for mods.

Sorry to hear aboot your luck...

I've had BamBam knocked over, he no longer gets parked where anyone can come near him when I am in town.

I can understand the accidental knocking over of a bike (my wife did it once, she was in tears knowing how much I love bikes, she also waited over an hour till the people came out of the store and helped them pick up thier full dress tourer)

BUT how in the hell does one 'run' over a parked bike, if the dude is that inept he should not be driving period.

heres hopeing not too much has to be replaced.

Xtreme, my thoughts EXACTLY they are going to find EVERYTHING wrong with the bike and quote me to replace it all. No way am I letting them fix her tho. I have seen the "pride" they take in there work. I'll pass.

Buddha, Accidents do happen. How this guy managed to rake my bike down the side of his truck for 3 feet then continue to turn until his front tire was on my front wheel, I HAVE NO IDEA!!!!

The more people I meet, the more I love my dog....

What about the other guys dog?

Speaking of which, I experienced 1st hand that dogs hate when we shift. Had a Rottweiler chase me for 3 blocks the other day after it yanked it's lease out of the owners hand.

that sucks!!! well, since I've been shopping for parts on the net over the last month and a half, have found that LSHD1.com is by far the cheapest place to get OEM parts...followed by:

Kutterharleydavidson.com
surdyke.com
chicagoharley.com

there are a few others...but when I can't find it by part number, I use google image search and can find the parts along with the link to their site, all the best in getting her put back together

Well as my wife always says after 33 years as a probation supervisor, "People Suck". And then their are her clients!

Good luck with the rebuild, stay safe.

BR
