this is my way of not getting a ticket for not having mirrors. california vehicle code approved (with competent legal representation). I posted this pic in two old threads but I dont think many were seeing it. You can make a sheet metal bracket super simple, your clutch lever may be in the way at first but you can play with the position of your lever or bend the bracket to get a clear view. I think this mirror is alittle big for my taste. just cut out a big enough piece to glue the mirror onto and leave a tab to zip tie and or wire to the stalk. sorry bout the pic ignore those two wires on the wall, this is not an electric mirror

you can point where you will, so vis is good. I dont have a ride planned, so Im still wondering about the vibration. someone going for a ride could stick a piece of tape on the blinker and have an idea before I'll know.

I know me, and I'm a "Wide body", so I'd fear that I'd only see my sexy legs. [cool]

Looks rad though dude. Keep us posted.

I only see that shaking far worse than normally being attached to a solid mounting point, now you have it mounted on a flexible mounting point.

midnight just hold a mirror there and see for yourself, you wont see your legs. I think the hot setup would be a flat polycarbonite mirror shaped to the blinker.

I just took off my mirros, I plan in putting my little round mirror just infront of the fuse box, basically sitting where you have your sticker. That way it keeps the front end clean, and I cannot get a ticket.

yeah i looked at that, and decided i would have to fab a bracket for the box to tilt it up and out, then one night got this idea. puttin it on the fuse box would be cool though.

Im thinking double sided velcro, sticky side to the fuse box, and the other sticky side to the back of the Mirror.

As for adjusting it, its only there to stop me from getting a ticket. My head is on a swivel when im out there. My mirrors were only EVER used to check if there was a cop behind me before I open her up.

got ya, cool deal. the little mirrors they sell in stores have double sided tape on them. hopefully the reflection of the sun wont bug you when its blinging out.
