My XB9s is fantastic...I love everything about it. It is comfortable, handles like no other, tonnes of torque, looks awesome and is a whole lot of fun. I have never had so many looks and questions while either riding or parked... I am so absolutely 100% satisfied with this bike.... it is unreal.

I have only been riding for 7years with only a few different bikes along the way but I have never enjoyed riding like I do now. I feel like an 17 year old that just got his license. All I want to do is ride around aimlessly.

So to anyone that is reading this and sitting on the fence about the purchase of one... well get off the damn fence and buy one, you will not regret it.
:D

Everyday I pull up to either the gas station, headed to or from work, I get this.

Buell's rock, definitely can relate [up][up]

i Love mine too. Its such a head turner and it handles amazingly. I just wish the build quality was higher. I've had several parts just break or fail on me. The weirdest thing was when the kickstand just snapped right off. Better reliability is all I could really ask for.

I'm lucky to have a local HD dealership that is semi Buell-friendly. I stopped in on my lunch break just to order the touring seat, and ended up spending about an hour there answering questions from the salesmen and parts guys about the mods I have done so far.

I love my bike, too! I have to take the long, curvy way home every day.

I'll join the "I love my bike" Crew!

this is my 23rd motorcycle I've had a lot of different brands and I really think this is my favorite one yet! I LOVE this thing!!!

They are just awesome...I rate mine (XB9 Lightning)as my best bike yet. Today I went to look at a Ducati 750 Sport..for sale with all the mods...and walked away...not impressed. No comparison to the Buell!

I'll bet i'm not the only one that comes home after a wonderful ride , parks the bike in the driveway , grabs a beer and stares.Had a great ride today with a couple of mates and when we pulled up for our lunch stop the boys were discussing how many people are attracted to my bike. One on a 07 softail with heaps of bling the other on a busa. They are both proud of their rides but the two combined don't attract any where near the attention that my machine does.I love riding my bike as much as i love teaching others that there is something refreshingly different out there. The only thing i crave for is a louder pipe, anyone know if an 09 XB12Ss can get a little louder without issues?

Yep. It's been done many times. The nice thing with the '08+ bikes is that you can do it and the ECM compensates to an extent, so you don't have to remap the bike, though it would be best. You can just do the TPS reset procedure after putting on the pipe and you should be fine.

You are not alone my friend!! haha... I moved a sofa chair and a lazy boy in my garage for this reason alone! haha

I love mine too (04 lightning xb12s). It is my first street bike. I also love the "what the hell is that?" looks I get.

I'm still loving my 08 XB12R. I've had it since Feb. 17 and just rolled over 1600 KM this afternoon. Not to bad considering I usually only do about 3000 KM a season. I love looking at it and still find cool stuff too see. I traded with my brother for a few minutes today, He's got an old 1000 Ninja, He said "that thing is SOOOO uncomfortable" YA, NO SHIT!!! lol Wayne:D

I'm with Chase12s. I love my bike, and the idea of the clever engineering. Just wish I had less problems with it.

Keep in mind I have 3000 miles on my '09 12R and check out my thread.

Problems...

[up][up][up]

Since I got my '09 XB12Ss [black/black] it has been awesome! Everyone loves the black frame, motor, and plastics. It's amazing how many people think the Buell is just an urban legend.

Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon period (had it 6 weeks,) but I absolutely love my XB12R! When I return from a ride, it's impossible to walk into the house without glancing back and admiring its amazing look! Call me a freak, but this bike is damn sexy! And ditto with the curiosity. Had a guy on a Ducati pull up alongside at a red light and question me about the Firebolt - he's ditching his Duc for a Buell. Also a ton of other compliments and admiring looks.

I loved both of my Buells a 1999 X1 and a 2007 XB9CityX. Even on cold winter days I'll go out to the shed with my bikes and dream of the next ride!

[up][up][up][up] Its gona be a long winter! it might hit 45 deg. today. I may just fire that mother up for a spin.

The weirdest thing was when the kickstand just snapped right off.

This was a known problem on the earlier models. I'm not sure what year my sidestand is because I bought it on ebay when I from the low suspension to the normal suspension, but I'm always paranoid about it. When the bike is at home I always either put it on the rear stand, or at least put some wood under the sidestand to lift the bike more upright to keep any unnecessary weight off of it.
