I love my Buell brakes!

This morning on the way to work I actually had to shut her down in a heartbeat. This is the first time I have had to stop this fast on the Buell. I was coming up on the right side of a truck and a car from the turn lane darted out in front of the truck, and of course me. I had no problems stopping on a dime. I am not sure I even would have been able to stop that quick on my old bike!

Thank you Buell. The brakes are amazing!

+2! i had to do an emergency stop on the interstate a few weeks ago. coming around a blind curve (yes on the interstate...eff'n arkansas) i was going 65-70 and traffic was stopped dead. i quickly thought to myself "oh shit!", planted my ass back, got low and hit the front brakes HARD! i turned a little to towards the median in case 1) i had to bail or 2) the car behind me had worse brakes. luckily i stopped a good 10ft short of the truck in front of me and didn't get rear ended.
i had never braked that hard on the buell before and needless to say, i was pleasantly surprised. on my v-star i would've become part of that trucks tailgate in that situation

I love my brakes for normal riding, but I do need to replace the rotor for more aggressive braking. My rotor is a little warped and isn't the smoothest when I really grab a handfull of brake.
