I still may go this way

All very good insight everyone, thanks! So, I can run a set of riser bars on my Firebolt like what's in a Lightening? Also, is there a lower seat for the Firebolts?

I honestly would prefer to keep my low mileage bike and put an S tail on it. It would help if it was lower, but I do not want to start swaping suspension.

That trade doesn't seem like a good idea. You might end up with problems in the near future that will cost you money. There's something to be said for knowing your bike well. As the other members said, do the tail conversion. You can also get clip-ons that rise up a little more for a less aggressive riding position (from ASB) I lowered my pegs , which helped. The clip-on conversion is a project for the near future. I think that will be "just enough" for me. I love the look of the S also and wanted one when I was looking for a Buell. The R came along first and that was that. I think the front end of the S is a bit nicer looking but the R does offer a little bit of wind protection (OK, maybe not a lot, but something) and of course, factory projector lenses that make an HID conversion easy. In the end, its really about what you like, but don't let your judgment be clouded by your enthusiasm.
