Where is the hell do you guys come up with these things.

Wonder why they wouldnt use the same rotor front and back on that second bike?

It's funny that all these expensive bikes sport Kendas...because man do they make some ****** motorcycle tires.

Nice Dave, gotta love Hydraulic brakes and more susp. travel than a truck all held within a 27lb frame.

If I could afford one I would go with a Specialized S-Works Era Carbon but pushing the $9000 mark I would rather invest into something a little more, "More".

Whoot Whoot gotta love biking, favorite pastime other than trucks and bikes.

I used to have a Cannondale M800 when I was stationed in North Carolina back in 92-94 but Florida sucks for mountain bikes. Its all sugar sand down here and it sucks. I have a Trek Hardtail for riding around with the kids but a full suspension bike in Florida is like owning a boat in the desert. I do miss ripping up some good single track.

we love riding XC and DH on our mountain bikes....and extreme, my wife has her eye on that Specialized S-Works Era Carbon too!

:D

i ride a kona hoss but would really like to try one of these. full suspensions are neat but hardtails are way better.

IMHO hardtails are great if your riding XC but we do mostly DH and you want all the suspension you can get when going off 10 ft rock drops and such....
;)

Hey polkie, nope, not me. That's the bike I'm talking about though. I raced one of those for a couple of years in the mid 80's before moving onto an RS-125. Wayne

i like to ride a cross between xc and dh, like a super D race. i also like to ride urban just messing around with jumps i find around town. but full suspensions do have their place.

I currently have a full susp. Diamondback and it does suck on flat ground but the amount of time I spend on flat terrain is heavily outweighed by the time I spend on hills, jumps, or obsticles.

I just stiffen up the rear if I know I am going to be riding more flat than normal.

I used to ride and did some 24 hour races.... I have a Klein Palomino, Adept and Mantra.... A Ventana Conquistador (full suspension custom built off road tandem).... A few hardtail Kleins and a couple old school fully rigid Kleins...... Most have top notch Shimano componets and the really old stuff has SunTour stuff...... My ex-wife wanted them listed as assets in the divorce....
