With my 150lb, no thanks. My shovel head has both, and I only use the kick starter if the battery is dead. Let me rephrase that...my 96" 10.5 compression shovel head if the battery is dead, it isn't starting....

Williegoat you have a slab side genny shovel or a cone shovel?
Cone, '77 FLH, stock 74"

Man that thing is clean, not my style but I appreciate it for sure. My buddy that wired my chop just restored a slab side for one of our other buddy's....very rare motor, it's all HD it's not an s&s slab copy. That's sucker does look comfortable though unlike my rigid. Enjoy her

After the kickstart i had from new on a `79 ducati 900ss i never want to see another kickstart, it was factory mod after factory mod and it still broke! when i finally got a good one i got knocked off and it snapped the f**cker clean in half smashed the crankcases to bits and virtually took my leg off! it was an American driver (in the Uk) ironically! lol so push button for me!

and speaking of vintage iron and iconic bikes......my dear old dads' comment the first time he laid eyes on the world's first superbike: "Jesus Christ....what are we lookin' at here?" my h1.jpg

I love those Kaw triples! I still kick myself for not buying an H2 before the prices got out of hand.
if you dig hard willie every now and then a decent H1 or H2 pops up but yes on pricing.....they got insane about 10 years ago with no let-up in sight. they are what i do most every day. i build and sell restoration parts for the Triples and restore one about every 3 years or so. i just finished this end of summer and this is the " big daddy" everybody clamors over. you really have to ride a well tuned original to appreciate the fact that still to this day the 72 H2 remains the most terrifying, unpredictable and insane production bike ever unleashed on the cycling public. hence the name "Widow Maker".h22.jpgh2.jpgh2.jpg

Wow! Now that's some talent!
Fantastic work Lunatic!
Willie- I'm not a fan of the big old Harley's but your bike is beauty!
