So a few days ago I was cleaning my airfilter, and I must have unplugged a hose, because when I started the bike the check engine light came on and it threw the p0506 code. So I took everything apart and found that the iac hose wasn't fully poking through the airbox hole, it was just brushing against it (not going through the hole). Anyway, after lots of four letters words and reconnecting it to the throttle bodies after dropping it, I finally put it together again properly.
There is no check engine light anymore and the bike idles as it should , so can I presume this was the culprit? The bike before I cleaned the air filter never threw this code, I think i may have unplugged it whilst tinkering with it.
