Not sure if I trust a guy whose screwdrivers consist of duct tape and zip ties...

And hand drilling out a jet orifice on the fly without any fixed clamp or a drill press? No way that is anywhere precise enough.
Patching a hole in the carb diaphragm with electrical tape? Doubt that's going to hold long term.

Entertaining to watch him tinker around, but the chances of thing breaking down in the middle of the road are fairly high.
