Identify this connection please...

A capped 3 pin male connector, left side under the tail section exits the harness and inline vertically above the oil fill port.

I think that's the connector for the interactive exhaust servo wiring.
I may be wrong.
www.buellmods.com check your model/year service manual to confirm.

That won't stop you riding.
Will just help educate you so you can answer your own questions. And possibly get you back riding quickly when you find your own solutions to simple problems.
